Finally, after 2 days of travelling yesterday we returned to Hungary from our 2.5 months journey in Brasil. However we couldn't train as much acro as we wanted to (to tell the truth we didn't even spend lot of time at sites which are suitable for that) but instead we had a lot of fun playing on coastal sites, getting brown on the beach, tasting great foods, completely unknown fruits, meet with many many new friends, e aprendemos portugues!

Brasil Acro Tour 2007
Florianópolis

Yesterday we did our first flight in Brasil, on the Island of Florianópolis. However the conditions were not too strong it was possible to climb up to 5-600 meters and to cruise around above the breathtaking Lagoon!

Today morning Szasza, Gábor and me arrived to the Island of Florianopolis in South Brasil. Here we met with our friend Fabio Baretto Fava, one of the best brasilien acro pilots and we will travel together in the next 2.5 month, to fly acro and also some XC in Brasil.

Today is hot but a bit rainy here, but now it's just perfect for us to chill out after 48 hours of travel...

I hope we will have internet connection regulary, to upload some pictures and videos about our stay here.

By the end of Coupe Icare our round tour is also over. We left home in May and travelled more than 15.000 km in 4 mounths through Europe, spending all our time with training and participating acro competitions. It was our first synchro season with Gábor and we learned a lot not only about the maneuvers but how to compete, what can be even more important sometimes.
