My name is Pál Takáts, the creator of this website. The idea came more then 6 years ago as I was struggling on the little Hungarian mountains to learn acro tricks by watching the very few videos available on the internet. Since then the acro scene has changed a lot, the sport is getting more and more popular. I am proud to see that today we have close to 4000 registered users and the site receives an average of daily 1000 visitors from more than 100 countries! When it was created in 2005 it was not prepared to serve such a fast growing scene like ours turned out to be.

As you might noticed the website was "suspended" and shut down again by our webhosting provider, due to the reason the we used too much of their resources, they said...

But now, thanks to our rescue angel, Panzar who offered his private server in Germany to be the new home of justACRO, the site is back up again and will be never restricted again in the future!

A big-big thanks to him once more in the name of the crew and the community!

Thanks to your activity - and my restitutive work :-) - the Video site is getting bigger and bigger! There are almost 150 videos already and the idea of creating a collection of interesting, impressive clips and quality movies, related to the extreme styles of paragliding seems working well!

The videos are grouped in the following categories. You can click on them to view all the videos of a certain category:

Paragliding acro - any kind of videos, related to acro
Competitions - all movies of acro comps
Events, Shows - demos, acro shows and any other paragliding related events
Acro Tricks - any clips, presenting a maneuver
Paramotor Acro - PPG stunts
Wagga Flying - playing with the ground
Speedflying - riding, flying with small wings

All the videos are also marked with Tags (keywords) which helps to find movies easier.

After starting the new justACRO site it took a while for us to find the best solution for the Videos page. In the last months behind the scenes we tested some different solutions till we found the best one that really fits our needs. The goal was to make this - important - section of the website attractive, easy-to-use and keep it always refreshing that our visitors feel it is worthy to check back time to time for new, interesting clips, movies.

Now as a registered user, you can simply add new videos to the collection by filling out a submit form which takes just a few minutes. You can link videos from any popular video sharing sites just as Vimeo, YouTube, MySpace, Dailymotion, Google, MetaCafe Revver, GUBA, IMEEM, JumpCut, Blip.tv, Brightcove, Last.fm, Live Video, Sevenload, Spike TV, Tudou, Veoh, and more...!
(We recommend Vimeo, because it's better quality.)

We would like to make most of the videos also available to download to your computer, however, we know that these video sharing systems normally does not support that. For this reason, justACRO provides a public, unlimited FTP access to upload the original video files in high quality.
(FTP server: ftp.justacro.com, USER: videoupload@justacro.com, PASSWORD: videoupload).

Please notice that all uploaded movies will pass through a moderation by the admins before publishing, because we would like to keep up a good level of quality videos.

Let the fun begin!

It took a while, but finally we are back with a renewed justACRO!
You can discover some freshening in the design, but the main developments were done behind the scenes, in the motor of the site, what was build up on new bases. The main goal was to create a clear-out, user friendly system with many new possibilities for you to create contents on the site and become real part of it!

Please notice that the website is still intensely under construction, not all the Menus and functions are available at the moment! Every day we are publishing some new developments, so if you haven't find something yet, please check back later.

Later I will also introduce you the new features and explain how to use them.

The registration is closed at the moment until we fix all the details related to the user management.
