Walensee is perfect place for safety training and acro because the altitude is about 800 meter.
Walensee - the lake
The take off place is reachable by car (N47 08.522 E9 16.033 1300 meter. Next to the lake there are many grass fields to land eg. (N47 07.403 E9 18.416) - 430 meter. Here there is a military air base! As I heard you can fly close to the mountain but if you want to cross the valley then you should fly high. The valley can be used by the airplanes...
On the mountain ridge you can find many places for top landing, take a rest and fly again. Be careful with the cloud base, it can come down some hundred meters very quickly and then take off becomes impossible just in a few minutes. Though it is very good to land next to a bar for a coffee then fly away...
