Well, actually it is not really an acro competition but mostly acro pilots takes part in. It's the ultimate competition of WAGA flying, the freestyle section of paragliding.
What is it all about? All kind of tricks with ground contact, like amazing helicopter landings, death spirals, advanced ground handling and such a spectacular things.
This unique event was organized in 2003 at first, by the well-known ParaTeam, on the biggest dune in Europe, Dune du Pyla (near Bordeaux, France). The dune is 7km long, 110 meters high, and has a lovely view to the Atlantic Ocean.

Every year the pilots invent new tricks and games and they have lot's of fun playing like childrens in a huge sandbox...
